This RFP is seeking cost-competitive bids for solar energy interconnecting with or delivering to PacifiCorp's system that will reduce system costs and provide net benefits for customers. Proposals for new solar PV resources must demonstrate that projects will achieve commercial operation on or before December 31, 2020. The minimum project size is 10.0 MW and the maximum size limit is 300.0 MW per project, however the project must not compromise system reliability. PacifiCorp will consider proposals for a power-purchase agreement (PPA) up to a twenty-five (25) year term. PacifiCorp is limiting the resource type to solar PV only and will not accept bids that combine solar PV with other technologies such as battery storage, wind, geothermal, or hydro in this RFP. PacifiCorp is also not accepting 'build-transfer' structures under the RFP at this time.
