The City of Longmont is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to provide scheduled 2025 roofing repair and replacement services at eight city-owned buildings. The City will award one contract for the repair and replacement work at these specified buildings. Additionally, the City will establish an on-call contract for as-needed roofing repair, maintenance, and replacement services for all facilities owned, operated, and/or maintained by the City of Longmont.
The project requires contractors to be licensed and insured, with bid deposits, performance bonds (100%), labor and materials bonds (100%), and a 5% bid bond required. All proposals must be submitted electronically.
Key dates include a mandatory onsite visit on August 28, 2025 at 9:00 AM MDT, meeting at the west entrance of Civic Center at 350 Kimbark St, Longmont, CO 80501. During this visit, contractors will be shown multiple locations specific to the 2025 projects. The question acceptance deadline is August 28, 2025 at 5:00 PM MDT, with questions submitted online. The proposal submission deadline is September 3, 2025 at 5:00 PM MDT.
Submission requirements include submission of bid documents as defined in the request for proposal. Pricing information is contained in attached documents. The contractor must possess a valid contractors license and maintain appropriate insurance coverage as specified in the bid documents.
