San Diego Gas & Electric Company (SDG&E) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to seek offers from third parties interested in purchasing 2025 and 2026 Portfolio Content Category 1 (PCC 1) Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) from eligible renewable resources under contract with SDG&E. The RFP seeks bundled RECs for short-term transactions only for 2025-2026 calendar year deliveries. The product involves PCC 1 Bundled RECs remaining from the pool of RPS-eligible projects with deliveries commencing upon final and non-appealable CPUC approval of signed agreements for the balance of 2025. The Point of Delivery is EZ GEN HUB (TH_SP15_GEN-APND). Bids must be submitted in ten percent (10%) increments with a maximum of one hundred percent (100%). SDG&E forecasts generation to be approximately 590,000 MWh for 2025 (prorated for balance of year upon CPUC approval) and 470,000 MWh for 2026. This RFP is authorized by D.24-12-035.
