Provides up to $800,000 in direct funding and technical assistance support over one to two years to organizations that build and scale career pathways and training to help Massachusetts residents access and advance in climate-critical priority occupations. Strand A specifically focuses on career pathway training that prepares new workers to enter climate-critical occupations. Successful applicants will demonstrate high levels of employer engagement, leverage existing workforce development systems, and lead to high-quality careers in climate-critical occupations. The program supports the state's goal of growing the clean energy workforce by 34% (over 34,000 workers) by 2030 to meet Massachusetts climate goals.
