San Diego Community Power (SDCP) is seeking proposals for renewable energy and/or energy storage projects seeking to contract with SDCP by first securing a Commercial Interest Allocation (CIP) from SDCP, in alignment with the California Independent System Operator's (CAISO) Interconnection Process Enhancements (IPE) initiative for Cluster 15 projects. SDCP requests proposals for products from new renewable energy and/or storage projects participating in Cluster 15 with specific attributes including: 1) Long-lead time zero-emitting, Resource Portfolio Standard-eligible resources with an 80% capacity factor, 2) Other RPS eligible resources providing as-delivered or shaped Power Content Category 1 renewable energy, 3) Energy Storage Resources of 4-hour duration or longer, and 4) Hybrid or Co-located Projects with preference for AC-coupled co-located resources. Projects must meet specific eligibility requirements including minimum 10 MW AC generating capacity, interconnection within the CAISO footprint, CEC eligibility, and contract terms between 10-20 years (5-year minimum for RA-only agreements).
