Orange County Power Authority (OCPA) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide External Auditing Services. The selected Consultant will perform an audit of the basic financial statements of OCPA for the fiscal year period ending June 30, 2025, and subsequent years if renewed. The audit must be performed in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States. The Consultant will prepare: 1) Report on the fair presentation of OCPA's financial statements; 2) Management letter of comments; 3) Report on significant deficiencies or material weaknesses in internal control, if any are identified; 4) Other communications to those charged with governance as required by professional standards. The Consultant must meet with the Board of Directors and designated committees as requested. All working papers shall be held by the Consultant for a minimum of seven years, and made available to OCPA and governmental agencies with oversight over OCPA upon request. The Agreement is expected to have a term of one (1) year, with the option to extend for up to two (2) additional one (1) year terms.
