Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) is seeking a managed EV charging program partner to continue offering its GridShift: EV Charging program to customers. GridShift is SVCE's existing managed EV charging program that launched as a pilot in 2020 and scaled up into a full program in 2021. It's available to SVCE customers via a white-labeled mobile application. The smart charging algorithm optimizes EV charging to reduce cost and emissions, with additional seasonal events: Critical GridShift Hours in summer to reduce demand during grid stress, and low-carbon events during the rest of the year to charge when carbon-free energy is most abundant. The program currently has around 1,500 EVs participating. SVCE wants a partner focused on: seamless user experience; measurable bill, emissions, and load shift impacts; timely and reliable data; retention of active users; customer recruitment and engagement to meet enrollment targets; ability to pilot novel approaches such as hourly and custom price signals; and reliable and diversified OEM integrations to maximize reach in SVCE territory. The scope of work includes platform development, program transition and launch, and ongoing program services for up to a 3-year contract term.
