The City of Longmont issues this Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain proposals and award a contract for managing the Public, Educational, and Governmental (PEG) access channels. City Council directed staff to invite proposals for providing public services for managing the Public, Educational and Government Access channels. These services are currently provided by Longmont Public Media.
The RFP seeks qualified vendors to manage PEG access television services for the City. Proposers must submit completed Offer Forms accurately in the format provided and according to instructions contained within the forms. Failure to follow Offer Form instructions may result in disqualification. Electronic bid submission is required.
Key dates for this solicitation include a Question Acceptance Deadline of August 28, 2025 at 5:00 PM MDT and a Closing Date for proposal submissions of September 11, 2025 at 5:00 PM MDT. A Prebid Conference is scheduled for August 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM MDT via Microsoft Teams. Attendance at the Pre-Proposal Conference and vendor education meeting is highly recommended to understand the Best Value Approach and the RFP terms and conditions. The City will record the meeting and provide a link to the recording upon request.
Insurance is required as a general requirement. Proposals will be evaluated using the Best Value Approach methodology. Pricing information is provided in attached documents, and vendors must review all bid documents for complete requirements and submission instructions.
