Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) is seeking a qualified printing and mailing services provider to handle multiple ongoing printing and mailing needs. The scope includes: (1) Required Notices #1 - 4/4 color postcards (111# cover, 11" x 6", C2S satin, AQ) in quantities of 100,000; (2) Required Notices #2 - 4/4 color folded postcards (100# recycled cover, 17" x 6" folded to 8.5" x 6", C2S satin, AQ) in quantities of 100,000; (3) Enrollment Postcards - 4/4 color (100# recycled cover, 11" x 6", C2S satin, AQ) in quantities of 1,000-2,500 per week; (4) Weekly Mailings - 4/4 color (70# recycled text, fold and insert, 8.5" x 11") in quantities of 1,000-2,500 per week; (5) Window Envelopes - #10 recycled content, 2/0 color in quantities of 30,000. Additionally, bidders may propose for other printing needs including flyers (80# book, 8.5" x 11"), tri-fold brochures (80# book), retractable vinyl banners, booklets (100# dull book), and postcards (80# dull cover, 7" x 5"). SVCE requests maximum recycled content in all paper choices, environmentally responsible inks and processes, and special certifications (FSC, union, etc.). Mailing service costs should include breakdown of NCOA, dedupe mailing lists, addressing, and post office delivery (postage not needed as SVCE manages its own postal permit). Bidders must provide volume discount pricing for quantities of 500, 1,500, 10,000, and 50,000 units or indicate where volume discounts apply. The selected bidder may also assume an existing printing contract that expires September 2022. SVCE serves approximately 270,000 residential and commercial electricity customers across thirteen communities in Santa Clara County, California, and is focused on supporting customer engagement with clean energy and decarbonization programs.
