San Diego Community Power (SDCP) is seeking qualified firms to provide professional services for financial and investment management services that align with SDCP's Investment Policy. The successful proposer will develop and implement an investment strategy aligned with SDCP's policy, ensure preservation of principal, manage funds in accordance with the 'Prudent Investor Standard' pursuant to California Government Code Section 53600.3, attain a market rate of return throughout the economic cycle while considering investment risk and liquidity constraints, monitor and manage risks in conformance with internal controls associated with SDCP's investment portfolio, provide regular reports on the performance of the investment portfolio (at minimum monthly), meet with SDCP regularly to discuss investment performance and strategy, and provide special financial services as requested by SDCP. SDCP expects to enter into a 12-month initial agreement with an annual contract value exceeding $125,000, with the option to amend the Agreement for up to two additional 12-month terms.
