San Diego Community Power (Community Power) seeks qualified firms to implement commercial sector energy efficiency programs for the San Diego Regional Energy Network (SDREN). The commercial sector programs include: 1) Efficient Refrigeration Program - providing small-scale corner stores/grocery stores and small businesses no-cost, direct install energy-efficient refrigeration equipment and technical assistance to support energy cost savings and the stocking of healthy, fresh foods, with one-on-one support, education on sourcing California-grown produce and product placement/promotion, and connection to other available programs and resources; 2) Market Access Program (MAP) - providing performance-based incentives to project developers (aggregators) who deliver projects that realize peak demand reductions and verified energy savings using population normalized metered energy consumption (NMEC) methodology to verify savings while paying incentives based on Total System Benefit (TSB) achieved; and 3) Small-to-Medium Business (SMB) Energy Coach Program - providing concierge-style advisory, facility benchmarking and energy efficiency opportunity assessments, technical assistance, direct installation, and program-stacking services to small and medium-sized businesses that help maximize opportunities for energy efficiency upgrades and promote an equitable transition away from methane-gas-burning technologies through electrification.
