MassCEC is requesting proposals from consultants with significant expertise in conducting surveys and analyzing survey results to perform research and prepare content for the annual Massachusetts Climatetech Industry Report for the next three years (2026-2028). The selected consultant will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research and analysis to assess the Commonwealth's climatetech industry annually, including detailed metrics on industry growth rate, number of jobs, and number of businesses in the sector. The resulting Industry Report will be published annually on MassCEC's website and in print format.
Key Dates and Milestones: The RFP was released on January 14, 2026. Questions regarding the proposal must be submitted via email to ecleveland@masscec.com by January 26, 2026, with answers posted to the MassCEC website by February 2, 2026. All proposals are due to MassCEC via email to ecleveland@masscec.com by February 24, 2026. Notification of award is anticipated in mid-April 2026.
Submission Requirements: Applicants must submit a complete application as a single PDF file via email with "Industry Report RFP" in the subject line. The submission must include a cover page, Applicant's Signature and Acceptance Form (Attachment A), a detailed proposal addressing RFP requirements, acknowledgment of the Sample Agreement (Attachment B) with any requested changes marked using Track Changes, team member resumes as an appendix, and optional supplemental materials such as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion statement or prior work examples.
Budget and Award Information: The total award potential is up to $300,000 for the three-year period (2026-2028). The contract will be based on the Sample Agreement provided as Attachment B, which applicants must review and acknowledge in their submissions.
