San Diego Community Power (Community Power) is seeking qualifications from Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), and qualified individuals and firms to participate in the San Diego Community Power Network (Power Network) as Strategic Partners. The Power Network is structured around seven outcomes: 1) Understanding respondents' needs, concerns, capacity, and influence in Community Power member agencies; 2) Identifying respondents' competencies and expertise that expand Community Power's current capabilities; 3) Defining and engaging in mutual partnerships to expand capacity to implement aligned goals; 4) Building relationships with community leaders to foster communication and collaboration; 5) Co-creating an ecosystem of partners to further Community Power's reach and trust; 6) Supporting the implementation of a Community Power Plan and customer service offerings; 7) Building shared ownership around Community Power's mission and vision. Selected partners may perform activities such as: providing input on program design, promoting and marketing programs, implementing programs, providing technical assistance, co-hosting listening sessions or informational meetings, and other negotiated duties. This establishes a pre-qualified pool of organizations for future project-based solicitations, with work expected to commence around February 2025.
