Greenville Utilities Commission is soliciting sealed bids for the furnishing of four (4) new 2025 Ford F-150 XL Super Cab 4WD pickup trucks or approved equivalents. The vehicles must meet detailed specifications including a 2025 F-150 4x4 Super Cab with 145-inch wheelbase, 5.0L V8 engine, electronic ten-speed automatic transmission, Oxford White exterior, and dark slate vinyl 40/20/40 interior. The trucks must include comprehensive features such as daytime running lamps, LED reflector headlamps, power mirrors, automatic high beam headlamps, FordPass Connect 5G Wi-Fi hotspot telematics modem, SYNC 4 with 12-inch productivity screen, advanced safety features including pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping system, and post-collision braking. Warranty coverage includes a 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty, 5-year/60,000-mile roadside assistance, and 8-year/100,000-mile hybrid battery warranty.
Vendors must deliver within one week of bid award or purchase order issuance. An authorized service center capable of performing all warranty work must be located within 200 miles of Greenville, North Carolina, and must be submitted for approval. Bidders must provide delivery timeframes which will be considered in bid evaluation. All bids must be submitted on the attached proposal form and must include two copies received no later than September 30, 2025 at 2:00 PM EST. Late bids will not be considered, and bids submitted via fax or email are not acceptable. Submission should be made to the Office of the Procurement Manager at Greenville Utilities Commission, 401 S. All proposals must comply with standard terms and conditions outlined in Section III, including insurance requirements with minimum coverage limits of $1,000,000 for general liability and automobile insurance, workers' compensation as required by North Carolina law, and cyber liability insurance with limits of $3,000,000 per occurrence. Bidders must complete all required forms including the proposal form, exception/variation form, and E-Verify letter of compliance certifying compliance with North Carolina employment verification requirements.
