Greenville Utilities Commission is soliciting quotations for the furnishing of one 2026 Ford F-250 XL Super Cab 4WD pickup truck or an approved equivalent vehicle. The vehicle must be new and in first-class condition, delivered FOB to GUC Warehouse at 701 Utility Way, Greenville, North Carolina 27834. Delivery must occur during standard business hours (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday only).
The vehicle must include comprehensive safety features including rear-view camera, AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control, Individual Tire Pressure Monitoring System, SOS Post-Crash Alert System, Trailer Sway Control, Anti-Lock Brake System, Traction Control, Wiper-Activated Headlamps, Front-Seat Side Airbags, and Safety Canopy System. Any deviations from specifications must be clearly identified and explained in detail on the Exception Form provided.
Submissions must be received by 11:00 AM EST on November 13, 2025 at the Office of the Procurement Manager, Greenville Utilities Commission, 401 S. Greene Street, Greenville, North Carolina 27834. Quotations may be delivered in person or emailed to haddocgc@guc.com. Bidders must submit proposals on the enclosed Request for Quotation form signed by an authorized official. GUC reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder whose evaluation indicates the award will be in GUC's best interests. Factors considered in evaluation include price, quality, general reputation and performance capabilities, substantial conformity with specifications, suitability for intended use, and delivery dates. North Carolina sales tax should be added as a separate line item to invoices. GUC is exempt from Federal Excise Tax and will issue a Federal Exemption Certificate upon request. No deposit is required. Late bids will not be considered.
