Greenville Utilities Commission is soliciting sealed bids for the procurement of one (1) Duct Dawg Underground Puller model DDHX-75 or an approved equivalent. The equipment will be used to support underground construction and cable installation activities for the utility's distribution system.
Bidders must submit sealed proposals on the provided Proposal Form by the deadline. Proposals should include the brand and model of equipment being offered, delivery timeframe in weeks, and unit price. All bids must be signed by an authorized official of the firm. The bid must be received in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bid name and opening date/time. Late bids submitted by fax or email will not be accepted.
Delivery of equipment shall be made Free on Board (FOB) to GUC Garage, 721 Utility Way, Greenville, North Carolina 27834. Delivery hours are restricted to 8:00 AM through 4:30 PM Monday through Friday only. The successful vendor must include the GUC purchase order number on all packing slips and related documents. GUC reserves the right to refuse or return any delivery lacking a purchase order number or arriving damaged, with no restocking fees applicable to refused or returned deliveries.
Bidders must provide two (2) copies of their complete proposal package including the Proposal Form, Cost Form, Exception/Variation Form, and E-Verify Compliance Letter. Any exceptions or deviations from specifications must be clearly listed on the Exception/Variation Form. If no exceptions are noted, the vendor certifies intent to furnish equipment in absolute compliance with specifications. GUC reserves the right to accept or reject any bids with noted minor deviations and will award to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder. Questions regarding this bid must be received by October 21, 2025.
