Greenville Utilities Commission (GUC) is soliciting sealed bids for the furnishing of photocells and related electrical components. The procurement includes five item categories: photocell controls (1000 units), watertight streetlight fuse holders (75 units), light starter plugs at 120v/G-11 specification (50 units), light starter plugs at 200v/G.05 specification (25 units), and LED photocell controls (1500 units). All items will be purchased in box quantities with approved manufacturer specifications clearly identified in the bid documents.

Bids will be publicly opened and read immediately after the submission deadline. Fax and email submissions are not acceptable, and late bids will not be considered.
The evaluation will consider compliance with prescribed requirements, quality, performance, price, and delivery timelines. GUC reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award items as a total package for all five items together. The successful bidder will enter into a multi-year contract not to exceed three years, with fixed prices during the first year and options for annual extensions at the same or negotiated unit prices for up to two additional years. All deliveries must be made FOB to the GUC Warehouse at 701 Utility Way, Greenville, North Carolina 27834, between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday only.
Bidders must comply with E-Verify requirements, provide a Letter of Compliance, submit an Exception Form for any deviations from specifications, and acknowledge acceptance of all terms and conditions. NC sales tax and Federal Excise Tax exemptions apply. Prompt payment discounts will be considered in bid evaluation.
