Evaluation and award: The award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder whose evaluation indicates that the award will be in GUC's best interests. GUC reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. The contract period is intended to be multi-year, not to exceed three years, with prices remaining fixed during the first year and options for annual extensions at the same or negotiated unit prices for up to two additional years if conditions warrant.
Submission requirements: Each bidder must submit a proposal on the enclosed request for quotation form signed by an authorized official. Numerical errors in discrepancies between unit prices and extensions will be governed by the unit price. If numerical quotes are stated in both numbers and words, the words govern. A deposit is not required. Bidders must clearly state any exceptions to specifications on the Request for Quotation Form. Prompt payment discounts may be considered in award evaluation. Sales tax should be added to invoices as a separate item; GUC is exempt from Federal Excise Tax.
