Greenville Utilities Commission (GUC) is seeking an Architect/Engineer (A/E) to provide engineering services for asphalt repair projects across multiple GUC properties. The scope of work includes reviewing current striping plans and asphalt conditions, providing striping drawings and specifications, developing asphalt crack repair and sealant specifications, delivering cost estimates, preparing bid documents, providing bid/award support, and offering engineering construction support throughout the project.
Key deliverables required include a minimum of 3-5 relevant projects of similar scope in similar building settings, references for each project, roles and rates for each discipline, and identification of key team leads with their experience. The proposal must demonstrate relevant experience on past projects as the primary evaluation criterion, followed by proposed team members' experience, rates for various roles required, and overall proposal cost.
Proposals must be submitted via email to haddocgc@guc.com, Attention: Cleve Haddock, Lifetime CLGPO, Procurement Manager. Questions must be received by 5:00 PM EST on October 7, 2025. All proposals are due by 11:00 AM EST on October 16, 2025. Respondents must provide a Letter of Compliance to E-Verify per North Carolina General Statutes Article 2 of Chapter 64. GUC reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and is not obligated to accept the lowest cost proposal.
