Greenville Utilities Commission (GUC) seeks an Architect/Engineer (A/E) firm to provide comprehensive engineering services for operations center renovations across two buildings. The project involves repurposing space in Building 2 (Engineering & Operations Building) and Building 3 (System Support Building) based on programming conducted in 2024. The renovated spaces will include office spaces, computer training room, training room, warehouse/workshop, and breakroom space.
The selected firm will be responsible for reviewing and confirming the 2024 programming schedule, providing Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD), and Construction Documents (CD) drawings with construction estimates, preparing bid documents, supporting the bidding process and general contractor selection, providing engineering construction support throughout the project, and delivering as-built drawings upon project completion.
Proposals must include documentation of at least 3-5 relevant projects of similar scope in similar building settings, references for each provided project, proposed roles and rates for each discipline, and information on key team leads and their experience. Evaluation will prioritize relevant experience on past projects, proposed team members' experience, rates for various roles required, and overall proposal cost.

The proposed work must comply with E-Verify requirements under North Carolina General Statutes, and the firm must maintain appropriate insurance coverage including Workers' Compensation, General Liability, Automobile, and Cyber Liability Insurance.
