Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) is seeking a consultant to manage the logistics, transportation, setup, and maintenance of the SVCE Dream Home, a mobile all-electric demonstration trailer. The Dream Home is equipped with various electric technologies including a heat pump mini split heating and cooling system, 120V heat pump water heater, induction cooktop, smart thermostat, electric fireplace, and other efficiency features. The trailer is powered by the SVCE Ford F-150 Lightning, which showcases bidirectional EV charging equipment with the Sunrun Home Integration System. The Dream Home is used for community outreach events throughout the Bay Area to educate customers about electric technology advantages over gas appliances. The scope of work includes: 1) Storage: Arranging for the trailer to be stored in a suitable secure facility in Santa Clara County; 2) Transportation: Transporting the mobile demonstration home to and from its storage facility to community outreach events throughout Santa Clara County; 3) Set-up: Assembling, preparing, and staging the mobile demonstration home, ensuring ADA compliance and safety standards are met, and ensuring all décor, furniture, appliances, and lights are properly displayed and functioning; 4) Safety and security: Conducting maintenance and safety checks and ensuring secure storage at all times; 5) Maintenance and cleaning: Ensuring the trailer and event space is clean and presentable before all events, with a licensed contractor available to fix minor damage or electrical issues. The trailer is 8.5 ft. wide x 18 ft. long, 14 ft. high, and weighs 10,500 lbs. Most events take place on weekends, with the majority being art and wine festivals that offer Friday evening setup and Sunday evening move out.
