The Idaho Governor's Office of Energy & Mineral Resources, Idaho Transportation Department, and Idaho Department of Environmental Quality are seeking qualified consulting firms to assist with the Idaho National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program. This is a federally-funded Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act initiative designed to create a nationwide network of interconnected electric vehicle chargers.
Idaho has recently completed its Siting, Feasibility, and Access Study (SFAS) and identified specific site locations for the NEVI Program. Round 1 funding will support one charging site each in Pocatello, Bliss, and Lewiston, with subsequent rounds of solicitation prioritized based on SFAS locations and best practices developed from the initial implementation phase. Consulting firms should outline how they can assist state agencies in implementing and managing the NEVI Program across these identified locations and future phases.
Key dates include a pre-proposal meeting scheduled for August 27, 2024, at 11:00 AM (held virtually), and proposal submission deadline of September 23, 2024. The complete RFP and detailed scope of services are available on the Idaho Transportation Department's Business Services website under the "Consultant Agreements" tab at itd.idaho.gov/business. Additional information about the Idaho NEVI Program is available at evidaho.org.
