Non-Wires Alternative (NWA) Expression of Interest seeking information to determine cost competitive NWAs to traditional wires solution on Hawaii Island. Developers and aggregators capable of developing utility-scale renewable projects or aggregating DER/EE in the Waikoloa area are encouraged to submit responses. This is an update to the EOI issued in April 2024 with revised capacity grid need reflecting new information on service requests in the Waikoloa area.
